Job Description

MEDICAL SPECIALIST (RADIOLOGY)
SALARY Grade 1:R1 106 040 p.a (Normal Speciality) REF: MS-GR1
SALARY Grade 1: R1 283 601 p.a. (recognised Sub-Speciality) REF: MSSUB-GR1
CENTRE CHARLOTTE MAXEKE JOHANNESBURG ACADEMIC HOSPITAL

REQUIREMENTS: Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as Medical Specialist in a normal speciality or in a recognised Sub-Speciality. Registration with the HPCSA as Medical Specialist in a normal speciality or in a recognized Sub-Speciality and proof of current registration. No experience required after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Specialist in a normal speciality or a Sub-Speciality.

Responsibilities will include full time clinical service provision including after hours (weekend and public holidays). Patient management and supervision of junior medical staff. Training of undergraduate and postgraduate students and participation in the academic program. Reporting to HOU on service delivery, clinical audits and where necessary quality improvement plans.
